Dispatch Console

The Dispatch Console is the front end of the EaseAlert® system for dispatchers. It gives them a fast, clean way to send alerts, assign crews, push details to Display Boards, and even generate automated voice dispatching while they are still on the phone with the caller.

Why the Dispatch Console Exists

Dispatchers have one of the toughest jobs in the system. They are gathering information, calming callers, making decisions, and getting crews out the door, often at the same time and under stress.

The Dispatch Console exists to make that process smoother. Instead of clicking through multiple screens and systems, the dispatcher has one interface that ties directly into CCU activation, Display Boards, automated voice dispatch, and your reporting.

How it Works

When a 911 call comes in, the dispatcher uses the EaseAlert® Dispatch Console to enter:

• Nature of the call
• Address or location
• Units or crews assigned
• Any relevant notes

With a few clicks, that information is sent to the CCU, which activates the EaseAlert® devices, and to the Display Boards, which update in real time. If Automated Voice Dispatching is enabled, the dispatcher can also generate an audio announcement with the same information, instead of repeating it manually over the radio.

The console can also support reporting and analytics features so you can track turnout time, response time, call volume, and trends.

The Dispatch Console is the starting point for everything the crews feel and see in the station. It feeds the CCU, Display Boards, and automated voice dispatch. On the firefighter side, that connects directly to TacPods™, VizAlerts™, BunkAlerts®, SafeTone™, and LED strips.

The result is a system where one dispatch action triggers coordinated, firefighter focused alerting throughout the station.
