The Turnout Timer ties into a VizAlert™ in key locations such as near the apparatus, along the path from bunks, or by the gear rack.
When the CCU activates an alert, the VizAlert™ triggers the Turnout Timer. The timer can either count up from zero or count down from a target time, depending on how you want to use it. Crews see the numbers as they move, so they know if they are ahead of pace or falling behind.
It is a simple visual reminder that time matters, without someone harping on the crew from the sidelines.

The Turnout Timer is just a local clock that does not have historic reporting. So no, these turnout times are not stored for reporting purposes and cannot be held against the responders. If you’re looking for historical reporting, the EaseAlert® Dispatch Console is the tool for you.
