With support from Zetron and Stolz Telecom, EaseAlert is thrilled to announce the successful installation of our latest heart-smart Firefighter Alerting System (FFAS) at Sherman Fire-Rescue in Sherman, Texas. This milestone marks another step forward in our mission to enhance firefighter safety and efficiency while showcasing the growing momentum of our civilian-side business. Partnering with our trusted channel partner, Zetron, we produced this cutting-edge system at our headquarters in Largo, Florida, and shipped it to Sherman, where it’s now making a real impact.
A Collaborative Effort Rooted in Innovation
This installation is a testament to the power of collaboration. EaseAlert, has been a pioneer in heart-smart alerting technology since 2019. Our patented pre-alert system—designed to reduce stress and cardiovascular risks for firefighters—pairs seamlessly with Zetron’s MAX Fire Station Alerting platform. Together, along with top-tier integrators like Stolz Telecom, we’re delivering solutions that help first responders respond faster, arrive smarter, and stay healthier.
Sherman Fire-Rescue: A Community Anchor
Sherman Fire-Rescue, the recipient of this EaseAlert system, is a vital part of Sherman, Texas—a growing city just north of Dallas. With four fire stations, three engine companies, four Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs), and a dedicated team of 94 certified firefighters, Sherman Fire-Rescue responds to approximately 8,500 calls annually. From medical emergencies (70% of calls) to fire incidents (20%) and public service needs (10%), their team is on duty 24/7, serving both the city and parts of Grayson County. This installation equips their firefighters with tools to reduce stress-related health risks—a critical need, given that heart attacks remain the leading cause of on-duty firefighter deaths.
From Tampa Bay, FL to Sherman, TX: A Seamless Implementation
Sherman Fire Rescue Station 1, recently implemented the EaseAlert Firefighter Alerting System, powered by the Zetron MAX Fire Station Alerting System.
The journey of this system began at our Largo, Florida facility, where our team designed and manufactured the FFAS to meet Sherman’s unique needs. After production, we shipped the system directly to Stolz Telecom in Texas, where Stolz team of expert integrators took care of the rest. The EaseAlert FFAS tied in seamlessly with the new Zetron MAX Fire Station Alerting System for Sherman Fire-Rescue’s. This project highlights EaseAlert’s ability to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions throughout the United States.
Momentum in the Fire Service
This installation is more than just a single success—it’s a sign of EaseAlert’s accelerating progress. While our roots lie in supporting first responders, our partnership with Zetron is opening doors to broader civilian applications. Fire departments like Sherman Fire-Rescue are recognizing the value of heart-smart technology, and we’re proud to lead the charge in reducing stress-related injuries while boosting response times. With the National Institutes of Health funding a clinical study on our FFAS—conducted by NDRI-USA, Center for Fire, Rescue, and EMS Health Research, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University—we’re gaining traction as a game-changer in firefighter health and safety.
Looking Ahead
The Sherman installation is just the beginning. As we continue to partner with industry leaders like Zetron, EaseAlert is poised to bring our heart-smart solutions to more fire departments and civilian organizations across North America and beyond.
